Cubs & Scouts

Brookside Scouts meet every Monday between 7pm and 9pm, Brookside Cubs meet every Tuesday between 6.45pm and 7.30pm.  The cost is £2 per session and the first one is free so anyone interested can see if they like it before paying any money.  The sessions are run by qualified scout leaders and there are rules around the child adult ratio so anyone interested will need to speak to Martin on 01952 593853 or get in touch via the website. (www.1stbrookside.org.uk) to make sure there are enough leaders to safely run the sessions.

Cubs is for age 8 to 10 and a half and scouts is for age 10 and a half to 14 but theScout Leader can let newcomers join Scouts at 10.  We don't have a Beaver colony in Brookside yet (6 to 8 year olds) but we'd like to set one up if there is enough interest so if anyone would like to send their child to Beavers we would ask them to get in touch and register their interest.  Cubs and Scouts is run at theScout hut on Aqueduct Road.
