Heritage - South Telford Heritage Trail

Stirchley and Brookside Parish Council in conjunction with the Heritage Lottery Fund have created the South Telford Heritage Trail - a self guided walking route linking lesser known natural and industrial heritage sites within South Telford. Visit the website http://www.walktelfordheritage.co.uk/ for walking directions and more information about the Trail.

Alternatively, you can contact the Parish Office on 01952 567140 to pick up a walking guide.

This route takes in some of the important heritage sites within the Parish including, St James Church, the Rose & Crown Public House, Stirchley Hall, Stirchley Chimney and Stirchley & Dawley Train Station to name but a few.

The trail can be walked in its entirety in 5-6 hours or tackled in bite-sized sections. It is easy to find - just look out for the unique logo on a series of way marker posts and follow the arrows.
