PARISH ENVIROMENTAL TEAM
The Parish Environmental Team (PET) was introduced by Stirchley and Brookside Parish Council back in 2014. Since then it has continuously worked to make sure our community is neat, tidy, and presentable, as well as working closely with residents and third party contractors. The Team also delivers the Council's Gardening Scheme for pensioners and people who are registered disabled. They support over 100 elderly residents.
Gardening Service
Stirchley and Brookside Parish Council was the first in Telford to introduce a free gardening service for the elderly and people with disability who are no longer able to take care of their gardens themselves and have no help from able family or friends.
The service offered is a basic gardening service of mowing through the growing season and pruning of small garden shrubs/bushes, for residents within the Parish.
